United States : Would Donald Trump supporters also support Adolf Hitler if he were alive today? One Facebook group decided to find out by creating a fake pamphlet full of quotes by Hitler but attributing them to GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump’s to get his supporters’ reactions. The video of Trump supporters embracing Hitler quotes is going viral, and here is what people said in response to the quotes and to finding out they had actually agreed with the notorious Nazi leader.

SoFlo, listed on their Facebook page as an “entertainment group,” hit the streets with a video camera to ask Donald Trump supporters what they thought of the fabricated brochure, starting with the Hitler quote “Anyone who sees and paints a sky green and fields blue ought to be sterilized.” The first man featured in the video proudly displayed his Donald Trump tie, proclaiming his support for the GOP candidate.

“Well, there’s a lot of people who should be sterilized, according to Donald Trump, so sure.”

Hitler instituted forced sterilization for many groups, but one of the most horrific cases included the sterilization of children determined to be of African descent, according to Holocaust Forgotten. Local authorities created lists of children who were then taken without parental permission and immediately sterilized.

By the end of last Tuesday night, Trump had secured victories in seven states, well ahead of his competitors. But his popularity wasn’t apparent on Facebook and Twitter, where users lamented the billionaire real estate mogul’s rise and contemplated fleeing the country.

Google searches for “How to move to Canada” surged in the hours after Donald Trump won primaries in seven states, putting him that much closer to the presidency.

Google Data Editor Simon Rogers first pointed out the trend, tweeting that interest had spiked 350% late Wednesday.

But that was only the beginning.

By midnight, the query rose 1,150%, before settling back down somewhere around the 500% mark on the day. (Rogers said on Twitter the numbers were “dynamic changing data.” By Wednesday morning Google said searches for “Move to Canada” were “higher than at any time in Google history.”)

Better yet, the majority of the searches seemed to be coming from Massachusetts, where Trump won in a landslide with 49% of the vote.

So many Americans were searching for instructions on leaving this great nation that the Canadian government’s website seemed to be having problems.

An error message on the site at 12:06 a.m. ET read: “You may experience delays while using the website. We are working to resolve this issue. Thank you for your patience.”
